Personal data are such data via which you can be identified. It does not matter, if this identification can be made through a single date. The more information and data are merged, the easier the personal identification. Personal data include name, address, age, eMail address and phone number of an individual.

1   Collection, use and recording of personal data by Gropper  

Gropper collect, uses and records your personal data only if it is permitted by law or you have given your consent. Your data will be received two ways: Either you transmit your data directly or via use of one of our services.

1.1   Data transmitted by you

The use of our website will generally be possible without transmitting data to us. For some services we will need to collect your data, to enable the particular service or operate faster, or    increase usability, some services are only available using your data. Detailled information on all services offered on our website can be found under “provided services within our website“.

1.2   Data, transmitted via use of one of our services

Some data will automatically apply for technical reasons, when you enter our website. Those data will be stored temporarily in a logfile. The following information is processed and stored until automated erasure:

  • The IP adress of the inquiring computer
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of demanded file
  • Website, from which the access is generated (Referrer-URL)
  • Used browser and further information transmitted by the browser (operating system, name of access-provider, geographical origin, language etc.)

The data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Providing trouble-free connection establishment of our website,
  • Providing comfortable usability of our website,
  • Evaluation of system security and - stability

The legal basis for processing of data is art. 6 paragraph 1 point f. the legitimate interest is concluded by the above mentioned purposes. Under no condition will your data be used to draw conclusions on your person.

Generally we will not transfer your data to third parties. Also, by use of appropriate measures and frequent inspections we ensure that the data we collect will not be apprehended nor collected by others.

The data processed by the above mentioned cookies are necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 point f GDPR.

3   Individual Services

3.1   Contact form

We offer you extensive personal support. If you contact us using the contact form on our webpage, we will collect your title, your first and last name and your e-mail address to  answer your request individually and as fast as possible. If you would like to be contacted by telephone, please also provide your telephone number. The data will only be used to answer your request; it will not be used for a sales pitch or for any other advertising purposes. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 point a GDPR. 

3.2   Online applications

For your career at Gropper you can apply online on our career portal - either with reference to a public job advertisement or simply out of your own initiative. We collect data related to your application. For more information on data protection for online applications, please refer to the data protection statement under https://karriere.gropper.de.

3.3   Google Maps

Our website uses the Google Maps service from Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland) via an API. In this context it is necessary to save your IP address. The information obtained in this way is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We do not govern this data transfer. Due to our legitimate interest to an appealing presentation of our online offers and to positively impact online search engine rankings of the places indicated by us on the website, the legal basis results from Art. 6 para. 1 point f GDPR. 3.4   Log-In Area for dairy producers

Our milk producers have the opportunity to register in a enclosed area. There you will receive important information and enable us to link this more easily with your supplier data.

In order to be able to register with us via the milk producer login, you need your producer number and pin number.

Each of our milk producers receive their own producer number. The pin number is given to the milk producer by us and is also required when registering. You can also assign a password of your choice and create an additional milk producer area. You can view the data stored about you in your user account at any time.

We only process and store your personal data in a user account if you have given consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 point a GDPR. After deleting your dairy producer account, your data will be automatically erased for further use, unless we are obliged not to in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 S. 1 lit. c GDPR due to retention and documentation obligations under tax and commercial law (from HGB, StGB or AO) or you have consented to additional storage in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR.

3.5   Social Media

We also offer extensive personal support and the opportunity to stay in contact with us via our pages in social media (Facebook, Instagram, Xing, LinkedIn, YouTube) on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 point f GDPR. These social media services collect personal data themselves, e.g. via your profile created there or via so-called social plug-ins that are implemented in third-party websites.

3.6   Use of YouTube components with extended data protection mode  

We use components (videos) from YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company of Google Inc., Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, on our website.

We use the option "- extended data protection mode -" provided by YouTube.

When you call up a page that has an embedded video, a connection to the YouTube servers is established and the content is displayed on the website by notifying your browser.

According to the information provided by YouTube, only data is transmitted to the YouTube server in "- extended data protection mode -", in particular which of our websites you have visited when you watch the video. If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, this information will be assigned to your YouTube member account. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting our website.

4.1   Customer and Service provider

What do we process data for and on what legal basis?
The data processing takes place for the purpose of concluding and processing the contract. The processing of your data is necessary in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 point b GDPR for the conclusion and fulfillment of our contract with you.

If necessary, we process your data to safeguard our legitimate interests or those of third parties (in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 point f GDPR) in connection with the fulfillment of the mutual obligations arising from the contract between us and you.

What types of data do we process?
We process the following categories of data: master data (e.g. name, address), communication data (e.g. telephone number, e-mail address), contract data (e.g. start and end of contract), possibly payment information (e.g. bank details, outstanding claims), claims data (e.g. Advance payment requests, creditworthiness inquiries), eventual payment information (e.g. bank details, outstanding claims, reminders) and eventual delivery data.

Who do we transfer your data to?
Within our company, access is given to those departments that need this to fulfill our obligations. Due to the shared use of data processing systems, your data will be processed within the Gropper Group. In order to meet legal requirements, we may or must, if necessary, process your data and pass it on to third parties (in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 point c GDPR). As far as necessary to check the creditworthiness, we will transmit your data to credit agencies.

Will data be transferred to a third country or to an international organization?
A transfer of your data to a country outside the EU usually does not take place.

4.2   Dairy Producer

What do we process the data for and on what legal basis?
The data processing takes place for the purpose of concluding and processing the contract. The processing of your data is necessary in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 point b GDPR for the conclusion and fulfillment of the contract with you.

If necessary, we process your data to safeguard our legitimate interests or those of third parties (in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 point f GDPR), e.g. for information from Gropper on the milk producer portal.

Due to the MilchGüV (German Law), your data will be passed on to the inspection bodies known to you in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 point c GDPR. If deviations are found during the sampling, the inspection body reports this to the respective QM milk certification bodies in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 point b GDPR.

What types of data do we process?

4.3   Videosurveillance 

What do we process the data for and on what legal basis?
The video surveillance is carried out for the purpose of clarifying and defending against criminally relevant acts against employees, parts of the company, production processes and products, for preventive protection against unauthorized access to the companys’ premises or buildings as well as to exercise our house rules. Our legitimate interest Art. 6 para. 1 point f GDPR identifies as namely property protection and the exercise of domiciliary rights, providing evidence and basis for investigation of criminal offenses, defense against dangers and vandalism, access control, protection of life and health, detection, investigation and prevention of damage / accidents.

Who do we transfer your data to?
A data transfer of the recordings to third parties (e.g. the police) only takes place if this is necessary for the investigation of criminal offenses.

If recorded video surveillance data are processed to preserve evidence in the event of security-relevant incidents or if there is a suspicion of criminal offenses, they will be deleted as soon as the respective process is complete and there are no legal retention periods or other objective reasons.
 

5   Your rights

Of course, you retain control of all personal data that you make available to us when you visit the website and use our services. You have the following rights, which you can lay claim to free of charge.

If your personal data is processed by us in order to operate direct mail, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such advertising.

You have the right to request that your personal data be transferred from us to another body.

6   Duration of storage

The criteria for the duration of the storage of personal data is the individual statutory retention period. After the deadline, the relevant data will be routinely deleted, given that they are no longer required to achieve the required purposes.

If data are not affected by this, they will be deleted after the necessary purposes no longer apply.

7   Data security

We use the common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is being transmitted in encrypted form by the closed key or lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.
